Director of Security, Top Secret Clearance

OverviewBlue Sky Innovators (BSI) is seeking a Director of Security to serve as our Facility Security Officer (FSO), Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) and overall Facility ManagerResponsibilities:Manage physical and personnel security programs for our Corporate Headquarters, SCIF and company personnelServe as the primary interface with government agencies regarding assigned program security matters and requirementsProvide day to day management of our facilities to include coordination and facilitation of classified conferences held in our headquartersEnsure adherence to applicable laws as well as national, DoD, and other SAP security policies and requirements such as National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM)Complete access request processes, prepare for inspections, process visit requests, conduct security briefings, refreshers and debriefings, maintain access rosters, classified mail, and IDS/access management systems and perform other duties as assignedDevelop/conduct formal initial and recurring security education and training materials/eventsProvide necessary support to Information Assurance team in the implementation and maintenance of classified information systems accredited under the Risk Management Framework (RMF)Develop/maintain program Fixed Facility Checklists to establish/update classified work areas, including maintaining necessary waiver/approval recordsRequired Qualifications: Active DoD Top Secret Clearance eligibility with current InvestigationAbility to be on-site at the Reston, VA Headquarters full-timeKnowledge of and demonstrated experience with U.S government security standardsKnowledge of NISPOM, SCI, DoD Special Access Program Security materials and other related security materialsBasic understanding of Cyber Security, specifically Risk Management Framework (RMF)Ability to perform COMSEC duties including inventory and dispositionExperience overseeing SCIF construction and accreditation strongly desiredBlue Sky Innovators, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
