Essential Duties: This position is in Arlington, Virginia or Annapolis Junction, Maryland and is on-site full time. Expect to travel ~25% of your time. You will actively analyze, lead and manage projects, sites, capabilities, policies and procedures. The SETA will blend traditional program management with expeditionary site logistics. Requires technical understanding of communication infrastructures, physical and logical network topographies across multiple emerging hardware and software platforms. The SETA shall support domain analysis, architecture definition, prototyping, requirements specification, and engineering/revisions for hardware and software design. This position is with a cutting-edge program designed to support National Security objectives, so self-discipline and initiative are imperative.
Furthermore, the SETA should be able to direct performers, brief senior leaders, analyze interfaces and schedules to maximize iterative integration opportunities and verify acceptance criteria and support demonstrations and enterprise tests.

- Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph and be willing and able to pass an additional polygraph as required.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in a technical field (e.g., Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, IT, or Information Systems. Experienced in logical/physical IP core infrastructure, communication devices and how they connect to networks, and the traffic movements in a network.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in computer or information systems design/development/analysis, engineering hardware and/or software solutions, computer/network security, vulnerability analysis, systems engineering, and/or network and systems administration.
- The SETA will have experience with performing Pre-Deployment Site Surveys (PDSS) to include RF surveys, site security, infrastructure, power and mission support analysis. The SETA will also have experience with cradle to grave mission system lifecycles from design and development, fielding and installation, test/acceptance, and operations and maintenance. Additionally, the SETA will have experience with Classified DoD information systems Risk Management Framework (RMF) including written documentation supporting Authority to Operate (ATO), Authority to Connect (ATC) and Interconnection Service Agreements (ISA).
- Experience with LAN and WAN Comms Engineering, SATCOM Engineering and 5G
- Experience with OCONUS mission system deployments and installations
- Government Specific Experiences: Cross-Domain solutions, COMSEC, logistics, etc.
- Experience in Management and integration into enterprise communications platforms
- Experience with Cloud Infrastructure, network devices, and various operating systems and capabilities (Linux, Windows, Kubernetes, Cisco, Docker, etc.).
