Director of Security, Top Secret Clearance

Overview

Blue Sky Innovators (BSI) is seeking a Director of Security to serve as our Facility Security Officer (FSO), Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) and overall Facility Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage physical and personnel security programs for our Corporate Headquarters, SCIF and company personnel
• Serve as the primary interface with government agencies regarding assigned program security matters and requirements
• Provide day to day management of our facilities to include coordination and facilitation of classified conferences held in our headquarters
• Ensure adherence to applicable laws as well as national, DoD, and other SAP security policies and requirements such as National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM)
• Complete access request processes, prepare for inspections, process visit requests, conduct security briefings, refreshers and debriefings, maintain access rosters, classified mail, and IDS/access management systems and perform other duties as assigned
• Develop/conduct formal initial and recurring security education and training materials/events
• Provide necessary support to Information Assurance team in the implementation and maintenance of classified information systems accredited under the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Develop/maintain program Fixed Facility Checklists to establish/update classified work areas, including maintaining necessary waiver/approval records

Required Qualifications: 

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance eligibility with current Investigation
• Ability to be on-site at the Reston, VA Headquarters full-time
• Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with U.S government security standards
• Knowledge of NISPOM, SCI, DoD Special Access Program Security materials and other related security materials
• Basic understanding of Cyber Security, specifically Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Ability to perform COMSEC duties including inventory and disposition
• Experience overseeing SCIF construction and accreditation strongly desired
