Description
As a Paid Loan Processing Specialist, you’ll support the Loan Operations Lead and Managing Director of Loan Operations by ensuring the accuracy and compliance of collateral release processes. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency while delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers.
What You’ll Do
- Review daily reports to identify loans requiring collateral releases
- Prepare and file releases for mortgages, deeds of trust, UCCs, EFS-1s, and other collateral
- Mail paid-out notices and manage related documentation
- Answer phones, assist customers with inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate departments
- File physical and electronic loan documents, ensuring accuracy and clarity in the e-filing system
- Support daily operations including mailing notices, posting transactions, paying invoices, and processing officer or processor requests
- Identify and escalate red flags, scams, fraud, and phishing attempts
- Stay current on banking regulations and security practices to ensure compliance and prevent losses
- Travel between branches as needed to support operational needs
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
What You Bring
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 1–2 years of banking experience
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
- High level of professionalism and integrity
- Adaptability and a willingness to learn continuously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
