Blue Sea Educational Consulting is hiring an experienced Reading/Literacy Specialist to provide individualized literacy instruction to school-aged children in Amityville, NY.
Role:
- Deliver one-on-one reading and language instruction.
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans based on each student’s specific needs and progress.
- Conduct informal assessments to monitor student growth and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Maintain detailed documentation of student sessions, progress, and communication with families.
- Collaborate with parents, school personnel, and other providers or specialists as needed.
Requirements: The first three requirements MUST be met to be considered.
- Must be a NYS Certified Teacher
- Must hold a Literacy Certification
- Daytime availability
- Special Education certification is a plus!
