Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for school-aged students
- Complete thorough, evidence-based assessment reports in accordance with district timelines and guidelines
- Participate in CSE and multidisciplinary meetings as needed
- Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to support student programming
- Develop recommendations for services, accommodations, and supports
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using our electronic system
- Communicate professionally with school personnel, families, and Blue Sea staff
Qualifications
- Active New York State Occupational Therapist License and Registration
- Bilingual candidates strongly preferred
- Experience conducting pediatric or school-based evaluations preferred
- Strong written communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to travel to assigned school locations within Nassau and/or Suffolk County
- Strong organizational and time management skills

Status: 1099 Independent Contractor
