Blue Ruff Pet Lodge – Amery, WI Area
Blue Ruff Pet Lodge is looking for a dependable, animal-loving individual to join our team as a Part-Time Pet Care Specialist. If you enjoy working with pets and want a fun, active job in a positive environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Position Details
- Pay: $12–$15/hour (based on experience & qualifications)
- Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week
- Schedule:
- Evening shifts: 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM
- Weekend split shifts: 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM
- Note: Two weekday evening shifts may rotate based on demand
- Weekend shifts will remain consistent each week Saturday & Sunday
Responsibilities
- Feeding, watering, and caring for dogs, cats, and other animals
- Cleaning kennels and maintaining a sanitary environment
- Supervising playtime and ensuring pet safety
- Monitoring animal behavior and reporting concerns
- Providing excellent care and attention to each pet
- Customer service including drop-offs, pick-ups, collecting payment, and booking services as needed
- Providing facility tours for potential customers as needed
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working with animals of all sizes and temperaments
- Available for evening and weekend shifts
- Able to handle physical tasks (lifting, standing, cleaning)
- Prior animal care experience is a plus, but not required
