What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pet Care Assistant - Part Time Evenings/ Weekends position at Fusion Pet Retreat?
Fusion Pet Retreat is a busy, rapidly growing animal boarding, daycare, grooming, and training center. We specialize in providing high-end, individualized care for each animal we are entrusted to watch.
We are currently seeking a part time Pet Care Assistant. This position will be part time. Applicants should be available to work a 5 hour shift starting at 5pm. The shifts are available every day. The position is part time with flexible hours; ideal for students or anyone looking for a couple extra hours and a flexible schedule. Must be able to work weekends.
You must have availability on weekends.
Responsibilities of Position:
- Clean Kennels of departed animals
- Clean up messes from animals
- Fill Water Bowls for animals
- Administer feedings for animals
- Do laundry
- Wash dishes
- Assist Pet Care Specialists in other tasks as assigned
Qualified Applicants should be:
- able to stand on feet for prolonged periods of time
- vigorously clean kennels
- be comfortable around animals, including dogs, cats and small mammals
- able to lift up to 25lbs
- available to work a 5 hour shift starting at 5pm
- have a positive attitude and want to learn!
