About the Role
Reporting directly to the VP HR the Recruiting Manager will lead full life cycle recruiting for salaried and hourly roles across the organization in a multi-site, multi-state, environment. Leveraging internal and external recruiting resources to ensure the timely filling of positions, delivery of an exceptional candidate experience, and highly productive partnerships with hiring managers. As a player/coach this role will carry a req load, project manage recruiting initiatives, and track progress against talent acquisition targets/metrics in support of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a Recruiter, providing coaching, direction, and workload prioritization.
- Partner with, and manage, external agencies on mission critical roles.
- Lead full life-cycle recruiting for salaried positions (operations, R&D, corporate, leadership, etc.).
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, develop sourcing strategies, and guide interview processes.
- Oversee and project manage external recruiting agencies, ensuring strong results and cost effectiveness.
- Build proactive talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
- Own recruiting metrics and reporting to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience, reinforcing our company culture and employer brand.
- Collaborate with HR team on onboarding, workforce planning, and talent strategy.
- Stay current on industry recruiting trends and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred).
- 5 years of recruiting experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or manager role.
- Experience in manufacturing, food & beverage, or CPG preferred.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting tools, applicant tracking systems, and sourcing techniques.
- Proven ability to manage external recruiting agencies and internal recruiting resources.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and project management skills.
- Passion for creating an engaging candidate and hiring manager experience.
