Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Certified Payroll Administrative Assistant to support our payroll and administrative operations. This role involves ensuring compliance with certified payroll reporting requirements, processing payroll data accurately, and assisting with general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll processing, knowledge of prevailing wage laws, and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process certified payroll reports in compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.

  • Ensure prevailing wage compliance for public works and government contracts.

  • Maintain accurate payroll records, employee timecards, and wage determinations.

  • Assist in the collection and verification of payroll data from employees and subcontractors.

  • Coordinate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies.

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and wage calculations.

  • Stay updated on Davis-Bacon Act, state wage laws, and labor compliance regulations.

  • Support general administrative tasks, including document management, filing, and data entry.

  • Assist with audits and reporting related to certified payroll.
