- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources across the service area
- Share information about Blue Ridge Care’s hospice and palliative care services with providers, caregivers, and the community
- Conduct in-person visits, presentations, and outreach activities to increase referrals and admissions
- Develop and execute quarterly and annual marketing plans
- Track referral trends, document outreach in the CRM system, and follow up on leads
- Meet with families and caregivers to explain services and support the admission process
- Represent Blue Ridge Care at community events, health fairs, and professional forums
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to support an excellent care experience
- Travel throughout the region and attend occasional after-hours or weekend events
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred
- At least two years of marketing, business development, or community relations experience (healthcare preferred)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfort navigating healthcare settings and speaking with providers and families
- Ability to work independently, organize field time, and follow up consistently
- Basic understanding of hospice eligibility (or willingness to learn)
- Reliable, insured vehicle and willingness to travel across the service area
