After more than 9 years of rapid development, Blue Ocean Inc has established a mature and stable automated cargo distribution and return procedure. Currently, we have over 200 employees in OR, CA, DE, FL, NH, PA, and TN locations. To fulfill the needs of business development, we are hiring a passionate, patient, and professional HR/administrative assistant to join our team in Knoxville Tennessee (zip code 37914).

Job Description:

  • Welcoming visitors/candidates and directing them to the relevant office/personnel
  • Carrying out clerical duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing documents, including office correspondence, memos and resumes.
  • Maintaining general office files, including personal files and other files related to the company’s operations.
  • Managing office supplies inventory and purchase
  • Acting as a liaison with waste management and landlord as needed
  • Support HR manager to collect timesheets and other HR-related issues
  • Other duties assigned by the branch manager

Job Requirement:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Customer service experience (a plus)
  • Logistics industry experience (a plus)
  • HR experience (a plus)
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • Proficient in a variety of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of safety working procedures
  • Comfortable handling confidential information
  • Ability to research and learn while performing tasks
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

Starting from: $18/hour (DOE)Hours and Schedule:

  • Part-Time Position: Monday Wednesday Friday (negotiable)
  • 24 hours/week plus daily overtime pay
  • 8 hours day shift with 30 minutes non-paid lunch break
