What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser position at Blue Mountain Resort?
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Love the view and delicious food of Slopeside? You are in luck, we are seeking a punctual, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited for an opportunity to create guests for life. This individual will join the Slopeside team to help maintain the cleanliness and timeliness of service as guest enjoy their time at Slopeside!
Requirements:
- The ability to provide outstanding guest service.
- A desire to be an integral part of a growing restaurant team.
- The ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and guests.
- Basic knowledge of restaurant & dining operations is a plus.
- Willingness to learn new skills!
- Must be at least 16 years of age
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of tables, chairs, booths, floors, and other areas of the restaurant as assigned.
- Removes used tableware during guests’ meal.
- Cleans/sanitizes table and seats after guests depart.
- Unloads, sorts, and stacks dishes and glassware to designated dish wash areas.
- Inspects assigned restroom areas every 30 minutes and cleans as needed.
- Assists servers and food runners to deliver meals to guests in large parties or during peak periods.
- A willingness to fill in for other roles as needed to ensure smooth operation of the dining room, as directed by the Restaurant Manager or immediate supervisor.
- Attends all staff meetings as assigned.
