What You'll Be Doing

As a Sandwich Station/Prep Cook at Blue Loon Bakery, you will be essential to crafting the delicious breakfast and lunch items our customers love. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing ingredients with precision and care to ensure freshness and quality for dine-in, take-out, and catering orders.
• Assemble, cook, and package a variety of menu items—including sandwiches, quiches, salads, soups, parfaits, and more—while maintaining our high standards for quality and presentation.
• Prepare made-to-order breakfast and lunch items efficiently while maintaining consistency and quality.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours.
• Assisting with other kitchen tasks as needed to support the bakery team.

What We're Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should bring the following:

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or in a food preparation environment.
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail, with a commitment to ensuring every product meets our quality standards.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, including strong knife skills, experience working on a made-to-order cook line, and the ability to follow written recipes.
• A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• A passion for great food and pride in producing consistently high-quality products.
• Availability to work weekends and early morning shifts is required.
