- Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Activity documentation.
- Responsible for coordinating and directing physical and mental activities to enhance the lifestyle of each resident.
- Assess, implements, and evaluates programs for residents' activities that are multi-faceted, meet the resident’s functional needs, and reflect the interest of each resident.
- Plans, schedules, implements and evaluates a program of individual and or group activities based on the resident's needs.
- Coordinated and participates in resident activities designed to promote social interaction, reality orientation, and intellectual stimulation.
- Provides residents who are confined or choose to remain in their rooms with in-room activities in keeping with life–long interests and in-room projects they can work on individually.
- Completes the activity assessment and care plan following the gathering of information to reflect the individual’s functional level, problems, needs, and interests.
- Documents activity-related information on the resident’s charts.
- Assist with escorting residents to and from activities.
- Maintains sufficient activity supplies.
- Develop a monthly calendar of planned activities.
- Interact appropriately and effectively in one-to-one activities according to the resident's needs.
- Awareness of individual cognitive, emotional and psychosocial impairments.
- Putting up and taking down, storing seasonal decorations.
- Provide at least three (3) activities per day.
- Organizing and contacting nonfee entertainment.
- Decorating the bulletin boards & seasonal decorations.
- Monthly activity calendar planning and postings.
