Job Summary:
Edgewood Manor Health Care Center, a skilled long-term care facility located in Raytown, Mo. has a challenging opportunity for an Activities Aide. We are looking for an energetic, results oriented team member with superior interpersonal and communication skills. A successful candidate must be a team player and lead by example in how to create and function in a team environment.
Duties:
-Implement daily/weekly monthly activities
-Complete initial assessment and create program progress notes.
-Chart/Document resident activities and questionnaires based upon activity plan of care.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate documentation
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care plans for each resident
- Monitor resident satisfaction and implement strategies to enhance their overall experience
-Engage / converse / Have Fun With Residents
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of dementia care, memory care, and recreational therapy techniques
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage schedules and resources
- Exceptional communication skills to interact with residents, families, staff members, and healthcare professionals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
