Activity Director
We are currently looking to hire an experienced Activity Director. Requirements include previous Activity Director experience in a long-term care/assisted living facility. Must be creative and have an outgoing/dynamic personality. The successful candidate must be a team player and lead by example on how to create and function in a team environment. The Director must ensure that an on-going program of activities is available to meet the interests and the physical, mental, and psychological wellbeing of each resident. The position will require developing, planning, and organizing a program for therapeutic groups including teaching the program to facilitate optimal rehabilitation and health of residents. The successful candidate will participate in discharge planning, development and implementation of activity plans of care and resident assessment. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record in order to transport residents to and from appointments and/or outings.
