Duties
- Safely operate your personal or company-approved vehicle to transport goods along local routes
- Ensure adherence to all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and safety standards during every trip
- Communicate effectively with clients to confirm pick-up and drop-off details, providing excellent customer service throughout the journey
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks to keep your vehicle in optimal condition
- Assist with heavy lifting or manual handling when necessary for deliveries or passenger needs
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to optimize routes and ensure timely arrivals
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and delivery details for record-keeping and compliance purposes
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, shuttle driver, bus driver, limousine chauffeur, or similar passenger vehicle operation role
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., passenger van, shuttle bus) with a clean driving record
- Experience with GPS navigation systems and local driving routes
- Knowledge of traffic regulations and safety protocols at the state level
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members
- Ability to handle heavy lifting or manual handling tasks safely when required
- Prior experience in medical transportation or client-specific delivery services is a plus
- Reliable personal vehicle that meets safety standards for passenger or cargo transport
