Kitchen Line

Join our team at the Blue Gate Restaurant to work on the kitchen line. In this fast-paced job, you will ensure that all plates are portioned properly, look professional, and leave the kitchen efficiently. Other responsibilities include:

• Making salads and sandwiches.
• Stocking and organizing the line.
• Cleaning and sanitizing the workstation.
• Preparing and cooking chicken.
• Operating fryers.
• Assisting with various kitchen tasks as assigned.

We need someone to work full-time or part-time, up to five shifts per week, between 10:30 am and closing. The hours may vary. Saturdays are required! Open availability is preferred! We are closed on Sundays!

The kitchen line worker will start at up to $17.00 per hour based on industry experience and availability. Experience is preferred, not required, and we provide paid training. Our kitchen staff is cross-trained, allowing each person to develop new skills and reach their full potential.

Kitchen Line Requirements:

• Practice safe food handling.
• Ability to perform the job's physical demands, including working in high-heat conditions, standing on your feet for long periods, bending, moving, reaching, and stretching.
• Must be teachable with a desire to learn.
• Work efficiently and accurately.
• Must keep the workstation clean and organized.
• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Must be willing and available to work evenings, weekends (Fridays and Saturdays), and holidays.
