Join us as a Banquet Server at the Blue Gate Restaurant, a themed destination restaurant in Shipshewana, Indiana. In this role, you’ll serve groups at events and gatherings, helping deliver excellent food and warm hospitality in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Banquet serving is a part-time, year-round position with flexible scheduling and strong earning potential.
What You’ll Do:
- Set up banquet rooms and event service areas
- Plate and serve food to large groups efficiently and accurately
- Deliver hot dishes promptly and professionally
- Assist with event breakdown and cleanup
- Complete side work and support tasks as needed
- Work closely with a team to ensure smooth service during events
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working at events, banquets, or large group service is preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Guest service mindset with a positive, high-energy attitude
- Ability to work well under pressure
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be available to work: days, nights, weekends (including Fridays & Saturdays), and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods, bend, reach, stoop, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must follow a themed dress code:
o Women: Amish-style dress with apron
o Men: Black pants and button-down shirt
o Tattoos must be covered
- Must actively practice teamwork and professionalism
