Senior Associate – Corporate Restructuring
- Location: Las Vegas, Nevada area; ON-SITE (local candidates or willing to relocate)

SUMMARY – Senior Associate, Corporate Restructuring:
Senior Associate of Company’s Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors (“ABC”) practice will serve as the day-to-day project manager for ABC engagements in which Company & its affiliates act as assignee and estate fiduciary. Lead all aspects of estate administration, from pre-assignment planning and asset preservation through asset disposition, claims reconciliation, tax compliance, creditor distributions, and estate closure.
- 5 years of related professional work experience including 3 years’ experience in corporate restructuring, investment banking, special situations, fiduciary services, bankruptcy estate administration, or relevant legal or financial positions
- Technical evaluation prior to hire: must successfully complete financial modeling testing and Case Study assessment - ***specifically the ability to create detailed 3-statement models…i.e., LBO***
RESPONSIBILITIES – Senior Associate, Corporate Restructuring:
- Serve as the day-to-day project lead for multiple ABC engagements and project teams, developing work plans, budgets, and timelines from pre-assignment diligence through final distribution and estate closure.
- Manage multiple concurrent estates, tracking deadlines, deliverables, and engagement economics while keeping senior leadership and clients informed of status and key decisions.
- Direct the administration of assigned estates, including asset identification and preservation, cash management, insurance, books and records, and the orderly wind-down of business operations.
- Oversee the marketing & disposition of estate assets, including going concern and orderly liquidation sales, coordinating with counsel, brokers, and auctioneers to maximize value for creditors.
- Oversee the claims process, including the intake, review, and reconciliation of proofs of claim (including tax and wage/priority claims), claim objections, and negotiated resolutions with counsel.
- Design and execute distributions to estate creditors consistent with statutory priorities and the terms of the assignment, supported by recovery and waterfall analyses.
- Manage the preparation of estate financial reporting, budget-to-actual analyses, and periodic status reports to creditors and other stakeholders.
QUALIFICAIONS – Senior Associate, Corporate Restructuring:
- REQUIRED: 5 years of related professional work experience including 3 years’ experience in corporate restructuring, investment banking, special situations, fiduciary services, bankruptcy estate administration, or relevant legal or financial positions
- REQUIRED: Superior financial modeling skills (specifically the ability to create detailed 3-statement models…i.e., LBO)
- REQUIRED: Advanced PowerPoint and Excel capabilities; Proficiency with financial/data analytics
- REQUIRED Strong academic record from a reputable undergraduate/graduate program (pursuit of a CFA, CPA, or other financial designations a plus)
- Working knowledge of Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors (ABC) statutes & procedures and related insolvency frameworks (chapters 7 and 11 of the US Bankruptcy Code, receiverships, and UCC Article 9 dispositions, etc.) strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with the US Bankruptcy code is a plus
