Legal Assistant / Legal Administrator
- Location: Las Vegas, Nevada area
- Schedule: 100% on-site, full-time (Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm PST with ability to work extended hours if business calls for it)
- Compensation: Non-exempt / Hourly equaling ~$65,000 to $75,000, plus overtime potential, plus discretionary bonus eligible up to 10% and comprehensive benefits

Summary – Growing international management consulting / advisory company seeks a highly organized / detail-oriented Legal Assistant / Legal Administrator to join our Las Vegas, NV area office. New role based on growth plays a critical role in supporting legal & financial professionals by managing case documentation, coordinating court filings, and ensuring compliance with court-mandated procedure (mainly Chapter 11 bankruptcy matters). Ideal candidate will possess strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), experience with legal document templates, and a working knowledge of AI-assisted tools. Background in preparing / filing fee & retention applications is highly desirable. This role requires a proactive, focused individual with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities – Legal Assistant / Legal Administrator:
- Review, edit frontline employee time & expense entries
- Assist counsel in preparing, proofreading, and filing retention and fee applications, particularly in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases
- Prepare supporting declarations & documentation for court filings
- Conduct, review conflicts checks against related parties
- Maintain organized case files and manage document workflows
- Track, calendar court-mandated deadlines and filing schedules
- Provide administrative support and assist with special projects as needed
- Generate, populate templates in Microsoft Word
- Utilize AI-assisted tools (e.g., document automation, legal research platforms) to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Review & run conflict checks against related parties
- Organize and maintain documents for case management purposes
- Calendar, stay on top of court filing deadlines
- Administrative support
Qualifications – Legal Assistant / Legal Administrator:
- Associates degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred
- 2 or more years’ relevant legal administrative-focused experience required – ideally in a professional services environment (law firm, management advisory / consulting firm, similar) or corporate setting focused on trusts, restructuring, accounting/professional services, etc. (Bankruptcy experience preferred)
- High-level proficiency in general computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) required
- Strong attention to detail with a proven behavior of accuracy, proofreading / editing skills, organization skills and planning are key
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- General understanding of accounting & mathematics
- Availability for full-time work, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, with flexibility for after-hours work as needed
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
