The Senior Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing acquisition and sales-driven email marketing programs. This individual will manage the full campaign lifecycle—from concept and creative briefing to deployment, analysis, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full process for email campaigns, including planning, creative direction, coding, QA, launch, and performance reporting.
- Translate business objectives into actionable marketing strategies and campaign requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to define workflows, manage data integration, and ensure accurate execution.
- Code and build HTML and CSS email templates.
- Oversee inbox placement, deliverability, and rendering across major clients and devices.
- Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests to improve creative, targeting, and timing.
- Partner with analytics teams to identify insights and make data-driven recommendations for improved results.
- Track key performance indicators, analyze campaign outcomes, and deliver actionable insights.
- Continuously identify new opportunities to increase engagement and conversion.
Required Skills:
- Must have 10 years of experience in digital or email marketing.
- 5 years of hands-on campaign workflow experience using Adobe Campaign or a comparable enterprise ESP.
- Must have experience with email deliverability, segmentation, and personalization strategies.
- Needs HTML and CSS for email development.
- Proven success managing large-scale, data-driven marketing campaigns end to end.
