Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an industrial engineering and construction organization, is seeking a skilled Revit Designer. This role is responsible for creating detailed Revit models for modular construction projects, developing construction-ready design documentation, and supporting coordination across HVAC, electrical, and piping systems. The ideal candidate brings strong BIM modeling experience and a technical background in MEP-focused design for industrial or commercial environments.
Job Duties
- Create detailed Revit models for modular construction and industrial system layouts
- Develop design specifications and technical drawings in collaboration with engineering teams
- Prepare construction documents and coordinate drawing packages for project execution
- Review and revise models and drawings based on stakeholder feedback
- Model HVAC, piping, drainage, and electrical system components within Revit
- Support clash detection and interdisciplinary coordination across MEP and structural systems
- Create and maintain custom Revit families and project parameters for modular components
- Assist with project schedules, design deliverables, and documentation milestones
Required
- Proficiency in Revit with strong BIM modeling experience in MEP and architectural environments
- Experience producing design, engineering, construction, and fabrication drawings
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, including chilled water and refrigerant piping layouts
- Experience in modeling electrical distribution systems, power panels, conduit, and cable tray routing
- Strong background in piping, duct, drain, and downspout layout design
- Experience with clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or Revit tools
- Ability to create custom Revit families and manage parameters for modular assemblies
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Design Technology, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience coordinating Revit models with SolidWorks or similar 3D design platforms
- Background supporting modular construction or prefabrication projects
- Experience working on industrial or commercial facility design projects
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for BIM coordination
- Exposure to multidisciplinary design environments involving mechanical, electrical, and structural teams
- Experience supporting drawing packages through approval, fabrication, and installation phases
