Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a global manufacturing organization, is seeking a skilled HR Operations & Immigration Specialist. This role is responsible for managing employment-based immigration cases, maintaining HR operations and employee data, and supporting key HR programs to ensure compliance and an exceptional employee experience.
Job Duties
- Serve as the primary liaison between employees and external immigration counsel for employment-based immigration matters
- Coordinate and track H-1B, L-1, PERM, and Green Card cases while ensuring compliance with U.S. immigration regulations
- Monitor case timelines and communicate documentation requirements, deadlines, and status updates to employees
- Maintain accurate immigration records across multiple business entities
- Process employee transactions in Workday, including new hires, transfers, job changes, and terminations
- Conduct HR data audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance
- Support employee relations activities, onboarding, offboarding, and U.S. intern programs
- Partner with HR, Legal, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Compensation teams to support HR initiatives and process improvements
Skills & Experience
Required
- 3 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or Human Resources Administration
- Experience maintaining employee records and HR transactions in Workday
- Knowledge of U.S. HR compliance and employment regulations
- Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes including hiring, transfers, and separations
- Experience creating and maintaining HR documentation and standard operating procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
