Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an innovative advanced manufacturing organization, is hiring a Supply Chain Launch Planner to support the successful introduction of new products and engineering changes into production. This position plays a critical role in bridging program development and ongoing operations by ensuring materials, suppliers, and planning processes are aligned throughout launch execution. What You'll Be Responsible For
- Coordinate material planning activities associated with new product launches and engineering revisions
- Drive alignment between program milestones, supplier readiness, and material availability
- Review and validate bill of material structures to support accurate planning requirements
- Manage implementation activities related to engineering changes, including inventory transition planning
- Develop and distribute launch readiness metrics, reports, and status updates
- Partner with suppliers to support delivery commitments and mitigate supply risks
- Maintain planning parameters and material data within ERP systems
- Facilitate collaboration across Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and Program teams
- Identify schedule risks and develop corrective actions to protect launch timing
- Support continuous improvement efforts focused on planning accuracy and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Logistics, or related discipline; equivalent experience considered
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supporting supply chain, logistics, material planning, or manufacturing operations
- At least 2 years of project coordination or project management experience
- Experience utilizing MRP or ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of new product introduction and engineering change processes
- Experience working with forecasting, inventory planning, and material requirements planning
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret planning and operational data
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within SAP environments
- Automotive, EV, or high-volume manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management processes
- Experience using Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar planning tools
- Understanding of material master maintenance and planning parameter management
- Exposure to multi-level BOM analysis and engineering change implementation
- Experience collaborating directly with suppliers to support production readiness
- Familiarity with 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) or comparable systems
