Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a transportation and infrastructure organization, is seeking a skilled IT Project Manager. This role is responsible for leading enterprise technology initiatives, coordinating cross-functional project teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of IT solutions from planning through delivery. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical knowledge and project management expertise to support complex technology environments.
Job Duties:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Lead cross-functional technical teams to deliver technology projects on schedule and within budget
- Coordinate communication between stakeholders, leadership, vendors, and project teams
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while managing issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with established technical standards and document approved exceptions
- Maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, work plans, status reports, and performance metrics
- Coordinate end-user training and support during technology implementations
- Track project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
Skills Required:
- Minimum three (3) years of Project Management experience, including at least one (1) year supporting technology projects
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) OR five (5) years of Project Management experience with at least two (2) years supporting technology initiatives
- Experience planning, executing, and delivering enterprise IT projects
- Proficiency in administering Microsoft Teams channels, file structures, and permissions
- Working knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, software development concepts, and enterprise systems
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, documentation, and risk mitigation
