Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: develop detailed project plans, define scope, set timelines, and manage project budget technology initiatives.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Monitor and mitigate risks.
- Serve as primary point of contact between project team, stakeholders, vendors and leadership.
- Ensure adherence to technical standards, obtain approval of and track exceptions.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including work plans, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Facilitate training and support for end-users of new systems or applications.
- Perform related duties as directed.
Required Skills:
- Technical Acumen: Understanding of IT concepts, software development, web technologies, cloud computing, and IT infrastructure.
- Strong leadership skills to guide teams, excellent communication skills, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Three (3) years working as a Project Manager with at least one (1) year in technology
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) OR five (5) years working as a Project Manager with at least two (2) years in technology
- Proficiency in structuring and administering Microsoft Teams channels, files, and permissions.
Education Requirement
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field. OR
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience working in an enterprise environment.
Preferred Qualifications (or equivalent):
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Successful delivery of a complex or large-scale IT project
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Smartsheet.
