Well-known venture fund is looking for a strategic Executive Assistant to support one of their General Partners. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team of EAs and be part of an organization with an unmatched track record of helping founders build category-defining companies. In this role, you’ll manage calendars, facilitate communications with internal and external stakeholders, organize events, and provide strategic support to maximize the Partner’s time. Someone highly detail-oriented and extremely articulate who can see the big picture while managing the flow of priorities. Preference for someone who understands the startup world and can work with technical founders. This is a hybrid role, 3 days/week in San Francisco, with occasional evening and weekend availability for events. 170-190K DOE plus fully covered benefits, 401k with matching, and flexible PTO.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic support to the General Partner.
- Proactively manage calendars, including coordinating internal and external meetings, preventing any conflicts, and ensuring time is used efficiently.
- Provide inbox management support to flag priority communications, draft correspondence, and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Book and manage travel arrangements, including providing detailed itineraries.
- Plan, coordinate, and support events of varying sizes, ensuring all logistics are managed effectively and maintaining flexibility to work outside regular hours when needed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with team members across the organization to support ongoing initiatives.
- Handle ad hoc tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Operations, or Project Management role. Ideally has familiarity with startups, fast-paced environments.
- Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Extremely detail-oriented, reliable, and trusted to manage sensitive tasks with precision.
- Ability to anticipate needs, think strategically about workflows, and ask the right questions.
- Sharp, quick, and adaptable, with the ability to pivot with last-minute changes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to write clearly and effectively.
- Professional and articulate, able to confidently engage with technical professionals and stakeholders.
- Collaborative and team-player mentality.
- Tech-savvy with experience in GSuite, Front, or similar email management, Slack, etc.
