As a Host at Trillium, you will be the first and last impression for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome, smooth seating experience, and gracious hospitality from beginning to end.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Answer phones in a positive and upbeat manner, assisting callers and taking reservations.
- Process Room Service orders when the Room Service attendant is unavailable.
- Monitor dining room flow and communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Clear and reset tables as needed to support the service team.
- Ensure guest satisfaction and provide support throughout all aspects of the dining experience.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in a full-service restaurant is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Friendly attitude with strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Willingness to obtain TIPS certification if not already certified.
- Ability to work efficiently and cooperatively with a dynamic service team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with resetting tables and carrying supplies as needed.
