What You’ll Do
As a Class A CDL Driver, you'll play a critical role in delivering building materials safely and efficiently to customer job sites. You'll represent Bliffert with professionalism, ensure compliance with DOT regulations, and support yard and delivery operations while creating a positive customer experience.

Safe Delivery & Transportation

Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles while adhering to all DOT, DMV, and company regulations.

Deliver building materials to residential and commercial job sites accurately and on schedule.

Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions while following established safety procedures.

Drive through designated routes and comply with weigh station requirements and state regulations.

Secure loads using straps, tie-downs, and other approved cargo-securing methods.

Immediately report accidents, incidents, traffic violations, or vehicle concerns.

Customer Service
-
Provide outstanding service and represent Bliffert professionally at all delivery locations.

Communicate effectively with customers regarding deliveries and special requests.

Read and fulfill special orders as directed by sales teams.

Assist customers with unloading and material placement when appropriate.

Support the company mission of creating raving fans through every customer interaction.

Equipment & Yard Operations
-
Safely operate a Moffett forklift and other powered equipment.
-
Load and unload building materials, lumber, and related products.
-
Perform lumber returns and material transfers between job sites and company locations.

Assist with sorting, stocking, and moving materials in varying weather conditions and terrain.

Operate power tools, saws, chainsaws, and other approved equipment safely.

Maintain clean and organized vehicles, equipment, yard spaces, and work areas.

Safety & Compliance

Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and operational procedures.

Conduct daily vehicle inspections and perform basic vehicle maintenance, including checking fluids and identifying maintenance needs.

Maintain a valid CDL and Federal Medical Card.

Report workplace injuries immediately to management.
-
Protect company information by maintaining the confidentiality of financial information and business plans.

Follow all housekeeping and safety expectations established by management.

Qualifications:Required Qualifications

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
