What You’ll Do
As a Non-CDL Box Truck Driver, you'll safely deliver building materials to customer locations while supporting warehouse and yard operations. You'll play a key role in ensuring products arrive safely, customers receive exceptional service, and all deliveries meet company and regulatory requirements.
- Safe Delivery & Transportation
- Safely operate Non-CDL commercial vehicles while complying with DOT, DMV, and company regulations.
- Deliver materials accurately and efficiently to customer locations.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips and report maintenance concerns promptly.
- Secure loads properly using approved cargo-securing methods.
- Follow designated routes and maintain all required transportation records.
- Immediately report accidents, incidents, traffic violations, or vehicle concerns.
- Customer Service
- Provide professional, courteous service during all customer interactions.
- Assist customers with delivery questions and special requests.
- Read and fulfill delivery instructions provided by sales teams and supervisors.
- Support the company mission of creating raving fans through exceptional service.
- Represent Bliffert positively at every customer location.
- Equipment & Yard Operations
Load, unload, sort, stock, and move lumber and building materials safely.- Assist with material returns and transfers when needed.
- Operate forklifts and other approved equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support warehouse, yard, and inventory activities as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and work area.
- Operate power tools and equipment safely when required.
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and procedures.
- Maintain a valid CDL and Federal Medical Card.
- Report workplace injuries immediately to management.
- Follow all housekeeping and workplace safety expectations.
- Protect company information by maintaining the confidentiality of financial information and business plans.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
