Position Summary
The Bookkeeper will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of Blenko Glass Company. This position is responsible for managing daily accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
