BCDI is hiring a Billing & Credentialing Specialist for our growing team! The Billing & Credentialing Specialist assumes full responsibility for credentialing all new providers and the maintenance of provider information in all databases and tracking systems by preparing, tracking and submitting initial and renewal credentialing applications for insurance plans and hospital privileges as well as ensuring all provider files meet NCQA, CMS, state, federal, and organizational standards. He or she also verifies healthcare charges via an automated billing system and provides timely follow up for claims and claim denials to ensure maximum reimbursement. Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 dependent upon experience

Requirements
1) 2 years medical billing & provider credentialing experience preferred.
2) Medication billing a plus.
3) Experience with billing Part B drugs a plus.
4) High attention to detail and ability to prioritize responsibilities to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
5) Knowledge of medical terminology utilized in medical billing, current office practices and procedures, and basic math.
6) Ability to elicit and evaluate information, sometimes of a highly personal and sensitive nature.
7) Ability to read, interpret, and apply regulations, policies, and procedures.
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
