Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1 years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Educator Certification and National Certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired
  • Experience supporting students with visual impairments preferred

  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to work collaboratively in a school setting
  • Willingness to complete required district background check and any time-sensitive credentialing

Position Highlights:

  • Contract position starting as soon as possible, continuing through May 25, 2027
  • Full-time schedule (35 hours per week), offering stability and consistent interaction with students and staff
  • Actively interviewing candidates for immediate consideration
