Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students in the New Orleans area as a Para/VOCO Facilitator. In this role, you'll serve as a vital facilitator for virtual school psychologists or speech-language pathologists, contributing to an inclusive and engaging learning environment. This assignment begins August 3, 2026, and continues through May 27, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week (7 hours/day, plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch).

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree OR ParaPro assessment score of at least 450 OR a minimum of 48 completed semester credit hours (required)
• Special education classroom experience is essential
• Ability to pass district-specific drug screening and fingerprinting as part of credentialing
• Strong communication skills and comfort using technology in a school environment
• Adaptability to different campuses and flexible with caseload assignments
• Enthusiasm for supporting students and collaborating with virtual clinical teams

Responsibilities:

• Serve as an on-site facilitator for students during scheduled virtual therapy sessions with licensed clinicians
• Support students’ participation, engagement, and progress in virtual sessions
• Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a supportive learning atmosphere
• Communicate regularly with on-site and virtual staff to ensure smooth coordination of services
• Maintain accurate documentation as needed for student progress and compliance
