Qualifications:
- Current and valid Michigan SLP license (temporary license required for CFY candidates)
- Masters-level education in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university (official transcripts required before presentation)
- SLP certification (ASHA CCC preferred; strong CFY with established supervisor may be considered)
- Experience working with K-12 school populations is favored
- Understanding of the challenges facing urban students and familiarity with appropriate support resources
- Ability to work 35 hours per week during the school year
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
