Teletherapy Speech Language Pathologist in MI

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A virtual speech-language pathology role is available to provide teletherapy services to a diverse student population in Michigan. This contract position requires a licensed SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and experience in school-based teletherapy.

Responsibilities include delivering speech-language services remotely to K-12 students, many of whom are English Language Learners from various cultural backgrounds and dialects, predominantly Arabic. Collaboration with onsite support staff is essential to coordinate student schedules, manage caseloads, and ensure effective session monitoring in designated spaces equipped for teletherapy.

Key qualifications and preferences:

• Valid SLP licensure with CCC credential.
• Experience in school-based speech therapy and teletherapy.
• Comfort working with a highly diverse student population, including ELL students.
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to students from multiple cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
• Familiarity or willingness to learn PowerSchools for managing IEP documentation.
• Flexibility to work approximately 20 hours per week with potential for increased hours.
• Preference indicated on which grade levels K-12 the candidate is most experienced or comfortable serving.
