Position Details:
- Location:Near Northampton, MA
- Employment Type: Contract, Full-time (37.5 hrs/week)
- Caseload:Will be discussed during interview
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide specialized instruction and support for academic and social development
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including parents, teachers, and therapists
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet individual learning needs
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field)
- Active/Valid Special Education certification in Massachusetts
- Experience with students with special needs, especially in life skills, preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices
