Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A leave of absence contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an elementary school setting, serving students from kindergarten to 4th grade. This role focuses on delivering specialized speech and language services in a supportive academic environment.Location: Westfield, MADuration: Immediate start through February 13, 2026Hours: 17 hours per weekKey Responsibilities: Provide direct speech and language services to students in small groups, one-on-one settings, or inclusion classrooms Conduct evaluations to determine IEP eligibility and participate in IEP development meetings Write goals and monitor student progress, maintaining accurate documentation Collaborate with educators and support staff to support student success Preferred Qualifications: Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification with a focus on school-based practice (SLP - CCC, SLP - School) Experience working with elementary-aged children (K-4) in school settings Strong knowledge of IEP processes and regulatory requirements for school districts Ability to complete district-specific onboarding requirements promptly This contract role offers the opportunity to impact young learners communication skills through individualized support and teamwork with educators.
