BlazerJobs is partnering with a local school district in Flint, Michigan to hire a Full-Time School Psychologist for the current school year with the opportunity to continue into the 2026–2027 school year. Position Details
- Location: Flint, MI
- Schedule: Full-Time, School-Based Position
- School Year: Current School Year with a 2026–2027 Renewal Opportunity
- Starting Pay: $40/hour
- Contract Type: School-year contract with strong renewal potential
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Interpret results and provide detailed reports and recommendations
- Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Provide consultation and intervention strategies for academic and behavioral concerns
- Support students’ social-emotional and mental health needs
- Assist in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
- Active Michigan School Psychologist certification/licensure (or eligibility)
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
