Key Qualifications:
- Current Michigan School Psychologist license (must be verifiable via the state credential website)
- Experience in K-12 educational settings strongly preferred
- Proven ability to assess, counsel, and advocate for diverse student populations
- Strong skills in communication, collaboration, and problem-solving
- Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to support special education eligibility
- Deliver direct and indirect counseling services to students, supporting their social, emotional, and behavioral development
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and intervention plans
- Serve as a resource for faculty and families on mental health initiatives and student well-being
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all ethical, legal, and district standards
- Engage with students onsite; teletherapy/VOCO options are not available
