Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree and valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable working directly with students in a classroom environment
- Ability to supervise and mentor Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) or willingness to learn
- Excellent communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills
- Reliable, professional, and open to in-person work twice weekly
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students, aligned with IEP goals
- Conduct and interpret assessments, documenting progress and collaborating with educational staff
- Supervise, guide, and support SLPAs as needed
- Provide input and attend IEP meetings, assisting in developing student-centered interventions
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and communication with staff and families
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
