Make a meaningful impact supporting students across multiple schools as a Physical Therapist in this rewarding contract opportunity. With a schedule that includes both an Extended School Year (ESY) assignment (July 8–30, 2026) and a full academic year (August 13, 2026–May 28, 2027), you’ll enjoy steady hours Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., totaling 35 hours per week. In collaboration with a PT/PTA team, you’ll work with a diverse caseload of about 50 students, traveling between nearby schools spanning all grade levels. Mileage for travel between locations will be covered.
Qualified candidates must have current licensure as a Physical Therapist. Experience working with early intervention and familiarity with Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment (TPBA) for Pre-K evaluations is a plus, but not required. Please note that fingerprint clearance is mandatory for those working with Pre-K students.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist license
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Experience with early intervention and TPBA certification desirable
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to travel between multiple school locations (mileage reimbursed)
