School Physical Therapist | Fayetteville, North Carolina

You will provide essential PT services across multiple schools throughout the academic year—and during the Extended School Year (ESY) program in July. This position involves traveling among schools to serve approximately 50 students on the PT/PTA team, with efforts to plan your locations in close proximity. Mileage is fully reimbursed, ensuring smoother transitions between sites.

What we’re seeking:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license
• Previous school-based PT experience is highly valued
• Familiarity with early intervention, ideally with TPBA (Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment) training or certification (preferred, not required)
• Completion of required fingerprinting for those working with Pre-K children
• Adaptability, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to travel between sites as assigned

What you’ll do:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students from PreK through high school as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Conduct evaluations, create and implement individualized treatment plans, and document progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and consult with teachers, staff, and families
• Provide both direct and consultative interventions, sometimes supporting PreK-specific assessments
• Work a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, 8am-3:30pm during the academic year, with summer hours from 8am-12:30pm, Monday-Thursday during ESY
