School-Based Physical Therapist - Biola, CA

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity focused on supporting young learners’ physical development! This part-time, full school year (FSY) position offers 15 hours per week dedicated to providing physical therapy services to primarily PreK students. You’ll collaborate with a passionate educational team to deliver impactful interventions that help students build strength, flexibility, and motor skills crucial for their growth and academic journey.

Ideal candidates have previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy, and a background working with Special Education (SPED) populations is highly valued. Bilingual Spanish speakers are especially encouraged to apply, as many families benefit from services in their primary language. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Valid Physical Therapist license for the state of California
• Prior experience in a school environment preferred
• Experience with Special Education (SPED) populations is a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred for optimal family communication
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for helping young children reach developmental milestones

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and develop individualized physical therapy plans for mostly PreK students
• Implement specialized interventions to improve functional mobility, balance, and participation
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records
• Attend IEP meetings as needed and contribute to interdisciplinary planning
