This full-time, school-based contract position begins August 27, 2026, covering a 12-week FMLA leave with the possibility of extension. You’ll make an immediate impact collaborating district-wide, supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade as they develop essential skills for learning and daily life.

You’ll be supervised by an Occupational Therapist, following established treatment plans, and actively collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure students reach their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Connecticut (CT DPH License and NBCOT exam required)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Reliable transportation to travel among sites within the district
- Comfort serving students with diverse needs, across all grade levels (Pre-K–12)
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their individual plans
- Support the implementation of strategies that promote student independence and classroom participation
- Follow and document progress on student goals under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist
- Collaborate actively with teachers, related service providers, and families
- Adapt to serving multiple campuses throughout the district each day
