Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required and must be current throughout the duration of the assignment
- Experience in a school-based environment strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies and intervention techniques
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with young students
- Professional, patient, and adaptable in dynamic classroom settings
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Role Highlights:
- Provide 1:1 behavioral support to an elementary student in grades 5-6
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA or other licensed supervisor
- Collect and record data on student progress and behaviors
- Utilize evidence-based practices to reinforce positive behavior and academic engagement
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parental teams to ensure a comprehensive support system
- Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:15 am–3:45 pm, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks
