Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
- Previous experience working 1:1 with children in a school or clinical setting is ideal
- Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
- Patience, compassion, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and support teams
- Organized, flexible, and reliable work ethic
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct 1:1 behavioral support and implement behavior intervention plans under supervision
- Collect and record data on student progress using established tools and methods
- Monitor student behavior and respond proactively to needs, using ABA strategies
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and staff to adjust strategies as needed
- Support classroom routines and help maintain a positive, safe learning environment
- Communicate progress and updates to supervisory staff and families, as appropriate
