Key Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico Speech-Language Pathology license
- Valid New Mexico teaching certification (NMPED)
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CF) as well as those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school settings is valued, but not required
- Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 40–50 students
- Effective communicator with a collaborative, student-centered approach
Your Role Will Include:
- Conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering speech-language therapy to PreK–12 students
- Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to a range of communication needs
- Working closely with teachers, counselors, and families to support student progress and IEP goals
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation for compliance and progress monitoring
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing professional insight for student success
